Join us for a Happy Hour Book Signing at Old Town Beer Exchange (OTBX) with local author Bob Bailey, whose latest book, The Final Reckoning, just released on April 23. As you'll learn in Chapter 18 of The Final Reckoning, OTBX is Bocephus Haynes's favorite bar and the setting for a pivotal scene in the story. So come by and have a drink with the author at this special local venue. This event is free and open to the public.
The Snail will have all four books for sale, including The Professor, Between Black and White, The Last Trial, and the final installment, The Final Reckoning. (These are great reads for Father's Day or an Alabama graduate, by the way.) The Snail is offering signed bundles of the four-book series for $58 (plus tax).
If you can't make the event, reserve your signed copies by e-mailing The Snail here. (The bundle price is available only at the event or by contacting The Snail directly by e-mail.)
About the book:
Through the first three books in the Drake & McMurtrie series, you've come to know and love Tom McMurtrie; his partner, Rick Drake; and his best friend, Bocephus Haynes. Now, in the final installment, they must brace for a confrontation like nothing they've ever faced before. This battle will be waged not in a courthouse but on the streets and fields of north Alabama. With all those he loves at risk, Tom must save his family, his friends, and his legacy from a killer whose hunger for retribution knows no bounds.
